Heidi Montag slams Hills earnings report

Heidi Montag slammed a report that claimed she is paid $100,000 per episode on The Hills.


Montag said: "We have never made that and we are not making that. I wish that were true."


She went on to say that what the actors of the show earn is confidential. "[It's] top secret, but it is not what you would think at all. I do The Hills for the love of it. I don't do it for the money," she said.


Montag, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Bosworth were reported earning $100,000 per episode, while other actors' pay packets were put lower. The report appeared on The Daily Beast.


Montag's husband, Spencer Pratt, also appears on the show. But Montag said she does not know what any of the other actors earn.


The new season of The Hills premieres tonight at 10pm ET/PT on MTV.
