Hip-hop producer opens up about romance with Alicia Keys

Hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz has lifted the lid on his relationship with songbird Alicia Keys.

The New York-born singer has been quietly dating the producer for several months, according to US reports.

Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, is in the process of divorcing wife Mashonda, with whom he has a two-year-old son.

"What we have is so precious," he said.

"But we're nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring."

Beatz does not leave much to the imagination in the remix of Drake's new song Best I Ever Had.

"Wake up in the morning and my baby cooked me breakfast. A's naked wearing nothing on but a necklace...

"Yeah, she says she wanna treat me like a king; I get big gifts so the money ain't a damn thing.

"She gave me a party at the Guggenheim - What's next? The ring? The baby? She really loves me!"

"This whole song is not about Alicia," said Beatz.

"The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked - she never done that for me."
