Jamie Lynn's boyfriend released from hospital

The boyfriend of Jamie Lynn Spears, Casey Aldridge, has been released from hospital less than a week after flipping over his pick-up truck.


Casey suffered a head injury that reportedly did not need any surgery in the crash, which occurred as he was driving home from a late-night stag party early last Sunday morning.


He is back home with Jamie Lynn and their 10-month old daughter Maddie after leaving a Mississippi hospital on Friday, a family friend told US magazine People.


The friend said: “He'll have to have some rest for the next few weeks.


“He's still got a headache, but everything looks good.”


Casey, 20, was cited for the accident, but police say that he did not appear to have been driving while drunk.


After the accident, he spent time in the intensive care unit, with a worried Jamie Lynn said to have been at his side throughout.
