John Mayer 'convinced Jennifer Aniston to give their relationship another try'

John Mayer reportedly convinced ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston to give their relationship another try.


The 32-year-old musician is said to have dumped Aniston, 40, twice while they were dating before they eventually split. However, he has now allegedly grovelled to Jennifer to give him another chance.


A source said to Betty Confidential: "John started texting Jen again recently, and then he started calling her. Jen still has feelings for John. Even after they broke up, she would listen to his music. And when she was in between scenes when filming, Jennifer would listen to John on her iPod."


The couple reportedly met up at the Four Seasons hotel in New York last month and friends of the star say Aniston is taking things slowly this time.


A pal said: "They are not totally back together. Jen doesn't quite trust John yet. She really wants to be in a committed relationship and she feels that John may have changed and is serious this time around, so she's giving him a second chance. But he has to prove himself."
