Jonas Brothers warned off sex by mum

The Jonas Brothers were warned off sex - by their mum.


Denise Jonas, who urges her Disney star sons to wear chastity rings, taught them that abstinence is the key to "safe sex", she says in a new interview.


But she knows that the teen idols will be tempted. So she says she prays for them.


She said: "They are men. They have desires.


"They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I'm not going to hate them. I don't think they are above or below being seduced. I would be foolish if I thought that. I pray for them."


Mum Denise also makes sure there is no rock 'n roll behaviour while the boys are on the road.


"She makes us be careful in the hotel room," says 17-year-old Nick Jonas of his mother's etiquette rules. "[She makes us] put back the towels, straighten the bed."


Nick, Joe, 19, and Kevin, 21, pose with their mother in the latest issue of Good Housekeeping magazine in the United States.


And they say that any prospective dates must pass their 'mother test' before going out with the lads.


"People always ask, 'What's a girl have to do to get your attention?'" said Joe.


"[I say] she has to be good to Mom [sic].


It comes after Lady GaGa said she would like to have a foursome with the brothers.

    I think denise raised the jobros with manners and a strong set of values. it's not wrong to want to save your self for the one you wnat to spend forever with. I love the whole jonas family!1 Happy b day 2 frankie he is like 9 awesome he is so cute

    OK. i agree with all of you that the Jonas Brothers are awesome and that Lady Gaga is nasty....but how would any of you know when Nicks birthday is. that's kind of acting like a stalker.. and yeah...there mom is awesome.LOL! =)

    i love their mom! she's awesome. and lady gaga, that was just disgusting. who seriously says that? Nick, Joe and Kevin are awesome and extremely talented!!! i love them!!!
    and Nick is 16, he wont be 17 until september =]

    Denise Jonas is a fantastic mom!
    Not 'weird' or a 'religious freak'
    She has brought her sons up in a way we all should admire.
    And should be respected for this; not put down for loving and looking out for them! She is a fantastic role model and i would love to have a mom like her. Yeah, about Lady GaGa saying she would want a foursome with the Jonas Brothers. Urm.. Grow Up! They seriously can do better than her! Love the Jonas Brothers and their awesome mom!

    its not a bad thing. im only 16 and i've decided when i was in elementary that im goin to wait til i get married to have sex too. i've seen first hand how it's like to be a single mother and it's hard... and i dont want that...

    So do I, admire Denise Jonas that is. She's a great mum and a fantastic role model. And I love Nick, Joe and Kevin too. They're amazing and talented (and they've been brought up right!)

    BTW, Nick is 16, not 17. Love Them!!
