Kelly Clarkson definitely not gay

Singer Kelly Clarkson says she is definitely not gay.


Despite loving Katy Perry's song I Kissed A Girl, the star is certain that she doesn't fancy girls.


The 27-year-old said: "Oh my God, I'm not gay! Everyone asks me, but being single doesn't mean being gay!"


The Since You've Been Gone singer doesn't mind when people question her sexuality but isn't sure where the rumour came from.


She said: "I don't mind. I don't really care. The only thing is, it kind of hurts my dating life. But I'm not offended by it."


In reply to where the star thinks the rumour came from, she said: "I don't know - I guess it's because I'm single. The only time it annoys me is when people throw it at me to be slanderous. Don't throw it around like you're insulting me."


Despite been adament she is not gay, the American Idol winner said if she was gay she'd go for talkshow host Ellen.


She added: "I'd totally go for Ellen. I think she's hilarious. She's one of my favourites."
