Lady Gaga is reportedly going to give away a lock of her hair with every purchase of her new album The Fame Monster.


The 23-year-old singer is to release her album The Fame Monster in the US on November 24 and fans who purchase the deluxe version will receive a lock of her hair, a personal note from the star and a jigsaw puzzle.


The collector's edition will also feature pictorials, posters, fanzines, paper dolls, 3D glasses and a behind-the-scenes look at her life.


Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, will also be kicking off her tour later this year, The Monster Ball Tour.


Talking about the tour, she said: "I've been training for two hours a day to get ready for this. I sing on the treadmill! I do cardio and weights on top of my rehearsals.


"I want to get my whole body in prime condition so I can carry the show."
