Nicole Kidman denies neglect of her adopted teens

Nicole Kidman has denied reports that she has abandoned the two children she adopted with former husband Tom Cruise.

US reports claim Isabella, 16, and Connor, 14 no longer call the Oscar-winning actress "mum".

"But they call Nicole by her first name," a source claiming to be close to the family told a US celeb weekly.

Kidman's new American representative poured cold water on the reports and said the article was "entirely made up".

Her Australian spokeswoman said the actress's new US agency, 42 West, was handling the situation.

Both Cruise and Kidman have remarried and have young daughters under the age of five.

Kidman has said in the past that her teens had reached the point of needing a stable base and that Los Angeles had won out. The teens live with Cruise and his wife, Katie Holmes, and their daughter Suri, 3.

Kidman is based in Nashville with her second husband Keith Urban and their child, Sunday Rose, 1.
