Reality star Tila Tequila is "trying to get away from this horrible nightmare" after her ex-boyfriend reportedly assaulted her.

Tila is currently arguing with ex-boyfriend NFL star Shawne Merriman after it was recently alleged that he assaulted Tequila.

The 27-year-old left a message, expressing her feelings at the moment.

She said: "I'm just trying to get away from this horrible nightmare.

"Everything's gonna be alright... I wish it never happened. I'm just trying to look forward now."

Tequila thanked all her fans and told everyone to call her at (860) 256 8452.

She added: "It'd be wonderful to hear your voices right now."

"Tell me some funny jokes; let me know what you're up to."
