Rescue Me's Denis Leary not a Twitter

Actor Denis Leary is no fan of Twitter and says that he doesn't know why the public needs to know what celebrities are doing.

"I can't get the Twitter thing.

"Do you really need to know what the f*** Ashton Kutcher is doing with Demi Moore?” said the 51-year-old.

And the comedian-actor says that he's read a "million" crazy internet rumours about himself.

"I've got a million," says the Rescue Me star, who claims members of the public sometimes mistake him for Hollywood actor Willem Dafoe.

"I got accused of having an ageing lesbian eye surgery. Ageing lesbian eye surgery - what does that mean?” he said.

"Unbelievable. Needless to say, I've never had the surgery.

"But, actually, I will at some point, if it makes me look like an ageing lesbian and I need that part.”
