Susan Boyle has been given extra security after a stalker turned up at her home in Scotland.

The 48-year-old singer has reportedly been receiving letters off of the American woman after shooting to fame on the show Britain's Got Talent.

SuBo was said to have been left "shaken" when the woman turned up at her home in West Lothian, Scotland, where she was intercepted by a bodyguard.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: "Simon is not taking any chances. This woman is constantly following Susan around the world. It is a middle-aged American woman who has become obsessed with her.

"At first, people thought it was no more than a nuisance. But after what happened to Leona, everyone is taking extra precautions. This is an important month for Susan and everyone wants it to go smoothly."
