US hip-hop artist T-Pain has become a dad for the third time, according to reports.

The 23-year-old, real name Faheem Rasheed Najm, and wife Amber recently welcomed a baby boy.

The couple already have two children - daughter Lyriq and son Musiq.

The news was revealed by SNL star Andy Samberg, who was set to perform a song with the star on US chat show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

He reportedly said, after the singer pulled out of the gig: "He just had a baby. Congrats on the baby, T-Pain!"
