Gwyneth Paltrow guest-stars in Glee

Gwyneth Paltrow makes a guest appearance in Glee as an all-singing, all-dancing substitute teacher. The 38-year-old Iron Man 2 actress plays teacher Holly Holiday in next week's hotly anticipated episode. Paltrow's character fills in for Matthew Morrison's character, Will, after he falls ill, and ends up performing a "mash up" of Singing In The Rain and Rihanna's Umbrella with the Glee club. But from the looks of the show's trailer, she doesn't make many friends along the way. Will's wife Terri asks if the new supply teacher is a "porn star or a drag queen", while Jane Lynch's character, Sue Sylvester, tries to give her fashion advice. "By the way, berets are out," she tells her, leaving Paltrow's character open-mouthed. Lynch, 50, recently spoke about the Sliding Doors star's guest spot and declared: "She's got the goods. She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away]." She added: "I saw them doing a mash up of Singing In The Rain and Umbrella. They are singing and dancing their hearts out and Gwyneth is leading them. She's amazing."
