Rapper 50 Cent has settled his lawsuit with US fast-food giant Taco Bell.


The hip-hop star filed his suit against Taco Bell in Manhattan last year, claiming the company had used his name and trademark without his permission to promote its low-cost menu items.


In a national advertising campaign the firm jokingly asked 50 Cent to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent for one day to promote its value menu.


It then sent a cheeky letter addressed to 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, to news outlets around the US.

Rapper 50 Cent has had his tattoos removed from his arms after they became difficult to cover up on movies.


The 32-year-old, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, said he had the body art taken off so that he didn't have to spend hours on film sets having make-up applied to disguise them.


He said: "I took 'em off. I've been on a few acting projects and they have been making me get up... My call time is four hours before the regular acting talent because of the tattoos.

Rapper 50 Cent has said he's ready to take Kanye West's hip hop title after his recent VMAs drama.


The 34-year-old vowed two years ago to give up rap if Kanye beat him to number one but the star has now said it's "cool to hate Kanye" at the moment.


Kanye, 32, was criticised for interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the recent VMAs to say that Beyonce should have won the award.

Rapper 50 Cent has admitted he has "lost a few million" in the recent economic crisis.


The 34-year-old star has an estimated fortune of £500 million and is starring in new movie Dead Man Running.

Rapper 50 Cent reportedly spent £75,000 at the after-party following the London premiere of his new movie Dead Man Running.


The 33-year-old star is said to have run up the bill at Alto club in Soho, after hiring out the entire VIP room for his entourage, pals and co-stars.


A fellow guest said: "When he arrived at the club it was mayhem. The area was cleared for him and security ushered him straight through.

Rap star 50 Cent has revealed he went for the role of BA Baracus in the new A-Team movie.


The 33-year-old, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, admitted he went for the part, which was originally played by Mr T in the original TV series, but they had already started shooting.


The role of BA Baracus in the new flick went to the former martial artist Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson.

Rapper 50 Cent has denied rumours that he is engaged to his long-term girlfriend Ciara.


The 33-year-old star is dating Love Sex Magic star Ciara, 23, and rumours first started in June and came up again in September that he had popped the question.


He has now told Hollyscoop: "No, I'm not engaged. They want me off the market."


The rapper was talking at the Los Premios MTV 2009 event at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. His new album Before I Self Destruct is out in November and movie Dead Man Running will open in the UK late in October.

Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and rapper 50 Cent are to star in a remake of Jekyll and Hyde.


Whitaker, who was widely acclaimed for his role as Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, has confirmed a script has been drafted and that the secretive project will soon start filming.


"It's based very strongly on the book," he said. "It's also [an interesting script] because we are dealing with similar things. You know, this Jekyll has a lot of issues and problems personally, himself. Hidden passions, hidden perversions - and it's acted out by 50."

Rapper 50 Cent has given fans a sneak peek at his scary new album cover.


The hip-hop star posted an image of the cover of the new record, called Before I Self Destruct, on his Twitter page.


The disc hits stores on November 17.


In the image, 'Fiddy', real name Curtis Jackson, resembles Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the Terminator films, thanks to computer trickery.


50 Cent has told how the new album will be 'darker' and more 'destructive' than his previous work.
