Avril Lavigne pairs up with Wilmer Valderrama

Avril Lavigne and Wilmer Valderrama have become an item, according to a Hollywood report.

Lavigne's marriage to Deryck Whibley ended a couple of months ago. Valderrama, 29, appeared in Columbus Day.

A source told a US celeb weekly: "They have been friends since working together on Fast Food Nation in 2005 but things heated up last month. One of their first dates was October 29 at Nobu in West Hollywood."

Lavigne, 25, and the hunky Valderrama were seen out at Wonderland, which was viewed as their making their relationship known. "She had her hand on his knee and they were whispering in each other's ear, laughing. They even closed the club, sneaking out just after 2 .....

Singer Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from husband Deryck Whibley.

The chart-topper cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split after just over three years of marriage.

Lavigne says in the papers the couple married in July 2006 and separated on Septemeber 4.

She is not asking Sum 41 star Whibley for spousal support.

Avril confirmed the split on her blog last month.

She wrote: “Deryck and I have been together for six-and-a-half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21.

“I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed .....

Avril Lavigne split up with her husband because she is "too young" to settle down, sources claim.

The Complicated singer wed Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley in 2006 when she was just 21. But the pair announced last week they had separated.

An insider revealed: "She married too young and she finally realised that.

"Avril realised she needs her own life and needs to explore things without him."

Meanwhile, another insider claimed that the pair had been having trouble for six months but added that the split is "not about Deryck wanting a kid, nor is she dating anyone else".

It follows reports that she spent the summer partying with socialite bachelor Bran .....

Singer Avril Lavigne launches her new clothing range.

The 24-year-old has recently displayed her new clothing collection, Abbey Dawn at The 'Rock and Roll' fashion show, which was held at Style360 as part of New York Fashion Week.

Despite the Complicated singer glamming up for the event, her clothes were more punk like.

Avril, whose range was named after her childhood nickname, described the collection as "a lot of hot pinks and blacks and stars and purple and zebra. Basically, everything I wear".

Featuring in the collection are neon pinks, black and white checks, top hats and leopard print.

Avril Lavigne will join the raft of female musicians drafted in to fill Paula Abdul's shoes on America's Idol.

The Canadian singer-songwriter will appear alongside judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi at the show's auditions in Los Angeles.

She joins Katy Perry, Victoria Beckham, Mary J Blige and Kelly Clarkson as guest judges in the show's ninth season, which are due to air in January 2010.

Singer-actress Queen Latifah has said she is also considering a similar offer.

Abdul's recent shock departure from the show was said to be due to differences over salary.

Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley have been spotted grocery shopping together as rumours swirl that their three-year marriage is on the rocks.

'Skater Boy' singer Lavigne was still wearing her wedding ring as she and Whibley, 29, wandered through the aisles of Bristol Farms, in Beverly Hills, on Saturday.

And Whibley, the lead singer of punk band Sum 41, was a true gentleman, carrying two bags of food out to the car.

Lavigne, 24, wore denim dungaree shorts, baseball pumps and a New York Yankees hat for the shopping trip.

"They certainly didn't look like they were in the middle of a break up," said an onlooker.

"They looked like any other .....
