For those that believe that Linkin Park is dead just because they changed their sound and became a different band, please listen to "When They Come For Me;" I believe Mike has something very, very specific he would like to tell you. Now, if you still want to come at this saying that Linkin Park isn't what they used to be, here's something else to consider. Linkin Park may have started out as a 'rap-core' band, but really they're about the change. Have you noticed that their music has become increasingly (and more obviously) based around change, either in the world, daily life, their own lives, human behavior, etc.? Have you noticed that their tour, "Projekt Revolution," is named after just such an ideal? Has this really been lost to you over the last 15 years? I've been a Linkin Park fan since I was a kid. I was there for Hybrid Theory. I was there with my uncle for the beginnings of the band, to watch them grow and evolve, and for the band to realize their potential as musicians; not that they weren't musicians before, but they're now showing that fact off. If people can't respect the band for that, you weren't true fans of the band to begin with. You were just fans of the blueprint. ATS is a wonderful album, and it surpasses what I expected from LP this go around.

As others said u gotta listen the whole album....Another epic album from LP....long live lp...u guyz never fail.....

After three long years(or may be longer) of waiting LP's new album 'A thousand suns' has been released.Some might get surprised after hearing it.Because the band brought a new look on this. What you need to understand is that the true identity of linkin park does not lie in their songs,it lies in their lyrics.And if you check this out,you'll find just the LP you know,showing you the depth and true colors of life,world,emotions,dreams,history and future. Some people may still say,''Its not linkin parkish.'' Well,for you I'll say,they followed the same patterns of music in the first two album-Hybrid theory,Meteora.When the first thought came about 'Minutes to Midnight',the band thought of a new way to decorate their songs,making something different which people would not expect from them.So,its no wonder that they followed the same rules in the new album. All of the songs are so different from previous albums.Although the song 'Iridescent' reminds a little bit of "Minutes to Midnight" for the matching pattern of music with 'Shadow of the day'.

The best thing about this album is that the more you're listen the more beautiful it get, for those who said it #!@%*# try listen to the entire album rather than skip through the song when just heard 20sec of it. This album best as whole ,a little bit awkward as individual.

Awesome, outstanding & ground breaking. Although at some points the Real LP is missed but never mind they have done justice with the Album. -Codename G
