Grammy-winning singer Adele has moved back in with her mum just months after moving out.

The 21-year-old soul singer moved out of her family home, but couldn't brace life living on her own so moved back in within months.

She said to British newspaper The Sun: "I bought my own place and moved all my things in, but I couldn't get used to not having my mum there.

"I didn't like it and she missed having me around as well, plus I wasn't very good at all the housework. So now I've bought us a bigger place and we are back living together.

"Now my mum can go back to university and she doesn't have to worry about anything."

Grammy-winning singer Adele has apologised to Lily Allen for not supporting her campaign against illegal file-sharing.

Lily, 24, started a new debate about illegal downloading of music and talked about the impact it has on upcoming artists

However, Adele said she isn't worried about people downloading her music and paying for it.

She said: "I'm either-or when it comes to downloading. My main worry is my next record and I think every debut artist should worry more about their second album than whether people will buy it or not.

"People can listen to it for free and then they'll come and see you live."

She added: "I know I'll get in trouble for that .....

Grammy-winning singer Adele is set to star in US sitcom Ugly Betty, according to US reports.

It is claimed the 20-year-old British singer will make an appearance in the show, that Victoria Beckham has also had a cameo appearance in.

Reports suggest Adele will feature in an episode of the show called In the Stars.

In the episode, Betty, Marc and Matt will oversee a photo shoot that turns into a spur-of-the-moment wedding, according to TVGuide.com.

Adele recently won two Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for single Chasing Pavements.

Daniel Merriweather is preparing to start a food fight with Adele after she skipped his concert and was later pictured at a Britney Spears' gig.

Adele, 21, was due to make an appearance at the launch of Daniel's new album Love and War, but claimed she had to have dental surgery and could not attend.

However, the Grammy-winning star was spotted at Britney Spears' gig in London that same evening.

Daniel said: "She's been eating ice cream for the pain but I'll flick ice cream in her face when I see her. Apparently she had a tooth out but she probably just couldn't be a***d."

Adele has revealed her mum was not impressed with her gum-chewing when she won her recent Grammy Award.

The 21-year-old British singer picked up the Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance awards at the Grammies in February, but when she phoned her mum to tell her, she was more worried about her gum-chewing.

She said: "When the award for Best New Artist was announced, I was so convinced that the Jonas Brothers or Duffy were going to win, I wasn't prepared at all.

"I'd undone my belt and I had chewing gum in my mouth.

"I nearly cried during my speech but I thought: 'No, I can't because of the Kate Winslet Golden Globe moment. One British perso .....

Grammy-winning singer Adele was forced to pull out of a recent gig with Daniel Merriweather after she needed dental surgery.

The 21-year-old star was due to perform at Daniel Merriweather's Love and War gig in London recently but had to drop out.

A source said: "She was in agony with her teeth. It's a shame."

Adele recently revealed she is nearly at the half-way point with her second album.

She said: "I've got about five songs now, so almost halfway there."

Grammy-winner Adele has revealed she got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell when she sung Chasing Pavements at a party in New York.

Adele, 21, was singing at an after-party for the launch of chain store Topshop when she met Simon, 49, and also Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony.

She said: "So I'm singing Melt My Heart To Stone and suddenly this couple stand up and start whooping. Turns out it's only Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony! F***ing hell!

"And then Simon Cowell turned up. I'd met him before at The Xtra Factor where he told me Chasing Pavements was the second-most played song on his iTunes. I was like: 'What's first? Bleeding Love?' Which made him .....

Grammy-winner Adele has admitted she is "almost halfway there" with her second album.

Adele, 21, is currently working on the follow-up album to her 2008 hit album 19.

She said: "I've got about five songs now, so almost halfway there."

But Adele admitted she will still be concentrating her album around relationships like her first.

She said: "Boys, I've still got the same problems. They get worse because I'm away all the time. It gets a bit harder. The littlest things I can write about, it doesn't have to be some drama.

"The littlest things about not putting a cup in the dishwasher. I can write a song about that as well.

Actress Evan Rachel Wood has reunited with Goth rock shocker Marilyn Manson.

The star, who played Mickey Rourke's daughter in The Wrestler, split from the singer earlier this year.

They began dating after Manson split from his wife, sexy burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, but separated after a year of dating.

Now Wood has confirmed in the May issue of GQ that she and Manson, with whom she once shot a blood-spattered sex scene in a music video, are back on.

She also denies claims that she and co-star Rourke, 56, had a fling on the set of The Wrestler.
