    either way you look at it, Its Slipknot.
    If you wanna see it as Stonesour, then so be it. Its Corey Taylor to me. Not any Band name.. I;m a **** Maggot myself, i LOVE slipknot, but i guess all you ****s care about is to cool all cool and dark infront of people on the bus or at school, Look people. Slipknots Giving you piece of Mind, They never said you ahve to like what they give you. Honestly its a take or or leave it, and i god**** took it. EVERY SONG ON THIS ALBUM.. IS THE BEST **** I;V EVER HEARD...

    I like this album,Because is the same motherfu... of the band and since (sic) days is the best new metal band alive and if you donīt understand the lyrics of surfacing song go, Becuase the real Maggots NEVER leave SlipKnot.

    There is absolutely no one who could have predicted this album would sound the way it does sure when I first heard it I was pissed but don't be so shallow about music sure it doesn't sound like Slipknot but the messages are just as good as in Iowa and The Subliminal Verses so don't complain so all we can do is hope that Slipknot remembers the sound that all the maggots love

    it's different, definitely different from what we expected from Slipknot... but it's hard, dark, has heavy riffs so it's pretty interesting to listen to it.
    at first i though it was some left over songs from stone sour but when you get to hear it a few more times you realize it's actually Slipknot. so give it a chance, it doesn't suck or disappoint... too bad i won't get to see them live playing this album it would make my day.

    This album is awesome it fu*king blew me away,and to all ppl that complain about slipknot being mixed with stone sour, what the fu*k...its the same vocalist of course you would say that,but they are two completely different bands,if stone sour had never existed you would be saying yeah that's all slipknot, it still sounds like 9 talented mother fu*kers producing a fu*king awesome pure sound to me.

    Frankly, all the other reviewers above are out of their damn minds.

    All Hope Is Gone rips your face off right from jump with Gematria and doesn't give a breather until the haunting Dead Memories which bleeds pain. Picking back up at Vendetta, the new style of percussion is astounding set on top of the war anthems that Cory and Company deliver through out the rest of the album.

    A kinder, gentler Slipknot some will scream but instead of a step back as many claim it will be, I see nothing but progress and a grown-up approach to metal. You can't scream forever.

    Welcome back 0-8, welcome back indeed.

    This is NOT a Slipknot album... there are maybe 3 songs that I'd call Slipkont, the rest are bloody stonesour, he's mixed up his two bands and it doesnt work, I think fand will be greatly disapointed with this latest 'offering'. Bad show boys, bad show.

    this is DEFINATELY NOT the best slipknot album Iowa is the best then their self titled, and true "maggot" would tell you that (maybe not iowa then 'skipknot' in that order but all would say those are the best and slipknot got soft at subliminal verses and this album. its good.. i cant deny that, but considering its slipknot, its a minor disappointment. Still though, stay 6(sic)6 ****ers (darn censorship lol)
