Actually, I've seen the live performance that this was transcribed from. It's not 100% accurate, but it's close. Frampton is ad libbing this line. What he's saying is "with the help of some bic lighters". As I'm sure you know, bic lighters are very common at live shows, especially at encore time. However, you're correct that the real, written lyric is "with the help of some fireflies". I'm not sure how to submit corrections or I'd do so. At any rate, it's a great classic rock ballad that's timeless
