Well this hotel bar hangover whiskey's gone dry, the bar keeper's wigs crooked, but she's giving me the eye, well i might have said yes, but i laughed so hard i think i died. I can't tell you how many times we wound and rewound those lyrics trying to figure them out! We had no music sheet, internet or video, just the tape. After several disputes we figured it out...LOL. My favorite lyrics are: As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead. and With an iron clad fist, i wake up and french kiss the morning. Beautiful. Jon was correct when he stated that his uncle Tony who owns the Power Station Recoding Studio in NYC may have helped him with some recordings, but he didn't write or perform the songs. Only Jon and Ritchie could pull that off. I just wonder if this songwriting duo will ever get the recognition they so well deserve? I hope so one day.
