The MetroLyrics Artist Search - Boost Be Heard Contest is a call out to find today's hottest Hip Hop/R&B artists through MetroLyrics.com and brought to you exclusively by Boost Mobile. Thanks to Boost Mobile, artists have a chance to Be Heard. The contest is focused around original song submissions and fan voting!
Following a 7-week total submission & voting campaign period (May 4 - June 23 over three stages) the top three (3) contestants, with the highest vote count, will be judged by Dallas Austin and he will choose one contestant who will win US$10,000 (paid by MetroLyrics), a song produced with him at his Atlanta studio (travel at winner's expense from his/her prize money). The Grand Prize winner and the second and third place winners will also win a Beat Thang by Dallas Austin (mobile music production device valued at $1,500 per unit).

Voting Period - Get your fans and friends to vote for you in order to get into one of the Top 40 spots!
Top 40 Voting Phase - June 16 9:00am PST to June 23 5:00pm PST (1 week):
The top 40 videos with the highest vote counts move on to the Top 40 Voting Phase. Voting period closes for all other submissions outside of Top 40 submissions.
At this phase the Top 40 contestants will be given a chance update their profiles and promote themselves and their music some more through their social channels! Dallas will judge the top 3 contestants with the highest vote counts to choose grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will be announced June 24, 2011 at 5:00pm PST.
