X Factor judge Cheryl Cole helped Black Eyes Peas star Fergie out of a wardrobe mishap when she appeared on the hit show.


The US band took to the stage during the latest results show and performed a live rendition of their new single, Meet Me Halfway.


After the band performed, the show's host Dermot O'Leary spoke to member Will.i.am who talked about working with Cheryl, 26, on her latest album.


He said: "Cheryl's awesome. We've made some great music together."


Fergie, 34, then thanked the Girls Aloud singer for letting her borrow her shoes: "I had a last-minute crisis, so thank you for letting me borrow your shoes."

The Black Eyed Peas arrived in Sydney last night to a private Aboriginal welcome to Australia ceremony.


The band flew in from Singapore to be greeted by a noted elder named Aunty Sylvia Scott. Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo will play their first Australian show on October 1 in the eastern city of Brisbane.


The Black Eyed Peas played to some notoriety in Malaysia where they were finally given permission to perform before a Muslim audience.


The ceremony also marked the Nomad Two Worlds collaborative art project, which is a multimedia art project created by indigenous artist Clifton Bieundurry and the fashion photographer Russell James, who is a good friend .....

Black Eyed Peas have admitted they haven't a clue about Formula One, despite performing at the F1 Rocks event.


The band's lead singer Will.i.am, 35, said that they have never even seen a race.


He said: "Apparently it's one of the biggest events but we've never seen a race. I'm a big fan of Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, though, and love fast cars."


The band have been unable to celebrate being number one in the US for 25 consecutive weeks with tracks Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling because of their hectic tour.

The Black Eyed Peas have Gotta Far East Feeling.


The hip-hop group performed at the grand opening of the new H&M flagship store in Shibuya, Tokyo, today.


Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo took a break from their The E.N.D World Tour to perform at the new Tokyo shop.


The group performed a medley of Michael Jackson hits, before playing tunes from their new album - I Gotta Feeling - and spinning dance tracks on the turntables.


A source said: “Everyone was having a great time and all the Japanese fans were doing their best to sing along.


“Fergie was swinging a towel around her head saying, ‘That's the way you use it.'

Muslims have been banned from a Black Eyed Peas concert in Malaysia next month as it is sponsored by a beer company.


The ban has come at a time when a clampdown on alcohol consumption has taken effect among the Muslim majority in Malaysia.


The concert is sponsored by Guinness, and Muslim fans have been told to stay away from the gig.


A Muslim woman was recently sentenced to caning by an Islamic court after she drank beer in public, although authorities have recently agreed to review the penalty.

The Black Eyed Peas have reclaimed the UK number one spot, keeping Peter Andre from claiming the title.


The band were stripped of the position in the charts last week when they were replaced by Tinchy Stryder.


Andre was hoping to roll in at number one with his track Behind Closed Doors at the weekend.


But the Black Eyed Peas moved back up to number one, with I Gotta Feeling pushing Tinchy Stryder to number two.


Andre debuted at number four.


In the album chart, Michael Jackson's The Essential kept the number-one spot for a seventh week.

Black Eyed Peas have climbed to the top of the UK Singles Charts with their new track I Gotta Feeling.


The band's second single from their album The E.N.D has reached the top spot of the UK singles chart after four weeks on the chart.


The first single off their album, Boom Boom Pow, already reached the top spot earlier this year.


The band knocked British boyband JLS off the top spot and also beat Mr Hudson with Supernova, Beyonce with Sweet Dreams and Lady GaGa with Paparazzi to the number one slot.


Meanwhile Michael Jackson has retained the number one slot at the top of the UK album charts with his album The Essential.

American band Black Eyed Peas have reportedly made a list of demands when they perform at the Glastonbury Festival.


The band are said to have asked for a tour bus with expensive recording equipment for them to record tracks, plenty of booze, a helicopter and lots of specific foods.


A source said: "The band are so excited about performing at Glastonbury. They love to be able to remix and make new tracks wherever they go so they have demanded they have a mini-studio on their bus to capture the moment.
