Lyric Battle: Katy Perry vs. Lady Gaga

Two of this year’s biggest artists are battling it out on today’s edition of Lyric Battle! Recently named by MTV as the Artist of the Year, as well as Barbara Walter’s most fascinating person of 2011, Katy Perry is a force to be reckoned with. And then we have Gaga, who Forbes named the Top Earning Woman in Music for 2011: cha ching! Since these two women in pop owned the charts this year, we thought we’d put up two of their songs up against each other for lyric battle. We went with their inspirational songs, “Firework” and “Born This Way”. Whose lyrics do you find to be the most inspirational?
