After coming out on top after some legal troubles, the always news-worthy Kanye West has another reason to celebate. It was announced today that the Watch The Throne rapper is nominated for a whopping 17 prizes at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The kicker of this news: there are only 19 categories in the BET Hip-Hop Awards!
Yeezy was given nods in categories like Director of the Year, Track of the Year, and the Made-You-Look Award for best hip-hop style, among others. You can see the rest of the nominees at BET’s website (including Nicki Minaj’s snub — she only got nominated for ONE award and it’s the style one…ouch.)
