Honestly, I luv this song. I have suffered Anxiety problems since I was 8, and now I am better! 3 years of suffering, and for a while it scarred me. This song rocks this point out, and show's how great people can really be no matter how hard it is for them. My dream is to become a Singer, and that dream is going to come true someday I know it. Look @ Cee lo now! He's extremely famous, and anyone who hasn't heard of him must be in another world!!

Cool lyrics, even cooler vocals. A great song used in the movie, Kick****. Was a funny school kid movie and the song did exactly what it was intended to do, namely provide a beat and song for the characters to do their acting in a special and very funny way.

The song was inspired by the above mentioned conversation with Danger but is about exactly what it says. He is remembering a time "when he lost his mind" though depression and anxiety, which he has suffered with throughout his adult life. Anyone who has suffered this disorder will tell you that his lyrics exactly describe how it feels. Detached but overwhelmed by information. Often the disorder attacks people who live a "party lifestyle". Hence he warns "have the time of your life but think twice". There is a price to pay. He reveals that his heroes lost their lives living on the edge and he wanted to be like them. Now he understands the consequences. you dont have to trip on acid to undertsand what he's talking about or to experience it... you can get much Higher without drugs than with them through the power of your mind... drugs are like a shortcut... trust me ive done all the drugs (actually i havnt done DMT, but thats beside the point) and ive been much much Higher (one time specifically, when i 'found god' so to speak or however you want to say that or whatever you want to call god i was on High for three days +) and i literally mean the kind of High you get on acid or mushrooms except much more free and clear and carefree. a state of wonderment and love and hope and faith... but also still really high lol and quite Crazy (:o

This song is deep! Wow I ahve suffered depression and anxiety in the past. The whole song sums the feeling up perfect. 'Even your emotions had an echo there was so much space' Is the exact feeling. You feel so detached from your emotions and just on a permanet down. Incredible song. Gratitude is the highway out of it.

i only just listened to this song whilst doing my make up infront of the mirror, actually listening to the lyrics has completely summed up how i feel... excellent song and hope people who actually gettit keep beleiving... people who dont are stupid. artists are emotional creative minded people - the only ones that keep me going in this life haha i moved to london enitrely on my own when i was 18 to fufill my destiny, my eyes completely naked to the harsh realities of life. love this song - n only just relised how much! :P god im crazy
