It's an attack on religion as a whole and on catholicism in some instances. Kerry King stated in an interview that it's more fun to write about Satan than God. King's an atheist and doesn't believe in either God or Satan.

wow....for someone to hate God so much. It's sad. I hope slayer finds peace & a way out of this hatred!! I like "Raining Blood". They are so talented. Too bad they aren't putting it to better use!!!
