Rosie O'Donnell celebrated the opening of her art exhibition. Solace, her paining exhibit, was inspired by the events of 9/11 spanning from 2002-2005. The art shows the reaction of a mother's terror and war. The event was held at the Gallery at New World Stages in New York City on October 9, 2007. Guests at the event included: Chita Rivera, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Rivers, Susan Powter, Lucie Arnez, Joy Behar, Kelli (Rosie's wife), and Margaret Cho.
