David Cook born as David Roland Cook in Texas on December 20, in the year 1982, is a US-based rock singer and composer who became known after winning the 7th season of American Idol. Cook was raised in Missouri, and now resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David�s father is Stan Cook and his mother is Beth Cook. He has two brothers: Adam and Andrew. David loved music even as a child and started performing in school events in second grade. He received his very first guitar when he turned twelve. .
