Destiny's Child

Today, the destiny�s child we know is comprised of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. But it was not always like that. Destiny�s Child was first formed in 1997 in Houston, Texas and included members Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Robertson and LeToya Luckett. The girl group was called �Girls Tyme.� They were a huge success. However, the internal conflict could not prevent the inevitable breakup. Robertson and Luckett left the group and were replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.
