I completely disagree with dariohart, personally what i believe the message that MGMT is trying to channel through these expertly composed lyrics is the importance of imagination. Is it not obvious that using the word electric, MGMT are clearly eluding to the world of Pikachu, Voltorb and Zaptos. By doing this MGMT are highlighting a terrible issue in the western world, the premature aging of all children through exposure to adult themes, such as sexuality, in music, movies and TV shows alike. Bravo MGMT!!

I read all notes above about this lyric that I completely agreed, but I’d go to a bit further in my feelings and comments, it suggested we will be able to get connected with the eastern world, which seemed to be a world apart, when, in fact, there is only one world; respecting the differences among people, I think we’re gonna get connected through this electric feel emanated from this girl. In my thoughts, It’s an invitation to a peaceful coexistence.

Okay so, I loooove this song. It's like the kind of song you imagine dancing in the rain to (the video encourages tha idea :P).
