Hey girl, you know, you drive me crazy
One look puts the rhythm in my hand
Still I'll never understand why you hang around
I see what's goin' down
Cover up with make up in the mirror
Tell yourself it's never gonna happen again
You cry alone and then he swears he loves you
Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect
Every action in this world will bear a consequence
If you wade around forever you will surely drown
I see what's going down
I see the way you go and say you're right again
Say you're right again, heed my lecture
Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Face down in the dirt she said, “This doesn't hurt”
She said, “I finally had enough”
Face down in the dirt she said, “This doesn't hurt”
She said, “I finally had enough”
One day she will tell you that she has had enough
It's coming round again
Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
As your lies crumble down, a new life she has found
Face down in the dirt she says, “This doesn't hurt”
She says, “I finally had enough”

I have a girlfriend who is getting out of an abusive marriage and she just went to see her father in law's grave stone with the guy. Let's just say this song comes to mind when I think about it. The first verse, kinda reminds me of some of the conversations we've had. It's a real wierd situation, but this song kinda puts it into emotional perspective for me. As for Women's rights, I kind of agree that people should be equal. But I think this song is about a girl who suppresses her feelings instead of calling the cops. So I guess I won't touch on the women's rights. I think it would be cool if the law stated that whoever was abused gets to fight the abuser and the abuser can't fight back. I had a verbally abusive father and I started fighting back, but he just got smarter, so I stopped trying. Now I have an inferiority complex. I'm sure my gf has one, too. I guess life's not fair, but then again, maybe I'll make enough money so that we can both live out in the woods and just be happy away from everyone. Or maybe I'll become an activist for abused children and spouses (is that even possible?). Who knows, who cares. This is me, signing off. Good day, and good night.

I love this song, it makes me think of my girlfriend, who has an abusive father... we first heard this playing xbox together then looked at each other and nodded.

Oh boy, I can already see the flames... Either way, because this is something that I am quite p****ionate about, I will make my stand. I am against women's rights. I don't think women should have special rights, but that all humans should be equal. Women's rights, in my perspective, has gotten all out of hand; women have too much power over men (I mean, it's stupid that a girl can hit a guy but if a guy hits a girl she'll call the cops). Anyway, I just don't think women should be treated any better than men. And what gives women the 'right' to rank men, constantly jeering that they're stupid? Besides, as far as family history for me, I've got an aunt who abused her first husband until he finally got fed up enough to hit her with a metal baseball bat. He was then arrested. Also, my great aunt was also abusive, and she caused one of her sons to have permenant brain damage. So you can probably see why I've gone against women's rights. Either way, this is not meant as a personal attack to anybody here who is a believer in the rights! This is just my personal stand point, and I've not come to argue. I'm just putting my opinion. (Also, you should know I'm female, just so you don't think this is biased in any way) xx Wolf

First off I will agree with you that everyone deserves equal rights. It's just more common for a man to hit a woman than vice versa. But women have been arrested for it before. See one of Christopher Titus's specials. He talks about the abusive relationships he was in where it was the woman who was abusive. And only the idiots of woman kind do that and are serious about it. By no means are all guys stupid nor jerks. Sadly we still need Women's rights, to an extent as there is still so much sexism and biast in the world it makes things difficult. I say that from personal experience. Even though I am a natural blond, I have had to endure the inane dumb blond jokes and work twice as hard to be taken seriously. From what you have said I can understand why you would be against it though. By the way, this not meant to be a flame or argument. Neither get anyone anywhere ~Rogue

If you take a look at the lyrics, it's obviously not in proper order. Though, this is still a very good song.
