Fred Durst and new wife split

Limp Bizkit star Fred Durst and his wife Esther Nazarov have decided to split after just two months of marriage.

Fred, 39, took to Twitter to announce the break-up.

He wrote: "For those of you inquiring, I will confirm that Esther and I have decided to go our separate ways and we both thank you for your support.

"Thank you all SO much for your concern and extremely kind words. Sincerely. We remain very positive and wish only the best for each other."

The pair wed back in July 2009 in Las Vegas and the couple seemed extremely happy.

Fred wrote on his Twitter: "Cheers to the universe from me and my lovely wife Esther Durst!! We are now one and complet .....

Rocker Fred Durst has married girlfriend Esther Nazarov - and announced the good news on Twitter.

The Limp Bizkit frontman posted a photo of the happy couple toasting their nuptials by a swimming pool.

And he Tweeted: “Cheers to the universe from me and my lovely wife Esther Durst!!

“We are now one and complete.”

Durst also used Twitter to announce their engagement in April, posting a photo of Esther's engagement ring.

He has previously been linked to stars including Paris Hilton and Britney Spears - although the Pop Princess publicly denied hooking up with him.

Rocker-turned-director Fred Durst is planning to make a slasher movie.

The Limp Bizkit frontman is in talks to helm a horror flick about a psychotic killer.

He told a US newspaper: "My next film is called Psycho Killer about a serial killer on a mission. I love the title. But it's not a throwaway, quick-fix slasher film - it's like a Silence Of The Lambs."

Durst received widespread praise for his work on independent flick The Education of Charlie Banks. It starred Jason Ritter and Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri, and won the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival's Made in NY Narrative Award.
