Gorilla ‘s entry into the Guinness World record for being the most successful Virtual Band was a feather in their cap. With their eponymous debut global album making a sale of 3 million, which included 1.3 million in the USA and certified sales of 600,000 in the UK, they could easily make it to the Guinness book. The release came No. 1 on the Euro album chart, No. 3 on the UK album chart, and entered the list of top 20 in the USA. The band was even nominated for 6 Brit awards and 1 Grammy award in 2001.
