First off, she's a woman, not a man. Second off, her voice is completely amazing without Autotune, and she's not even using Autotune, she's using a Vocoder. Perhaps you should check out her other music so you can understand the real power of her voice before judging after one song. k thanks, bye.

Auto-tune rape is good for some things... not a ballad like this. Can this guy sing a note? It doesn't matter. ANYONE could get up on stage and sound exactly like he does. The lyrics are good. The chorus is "full" and redeems the melody in the verses, which is dreadful. This song is not danceable. 3 out of 10.

Five: Listen to the verses, there is a perfectly fine melody, what's so dreadful? the slow build-up? the rise and fall?
Six: not anyone sounds like this, you need skill with the Vocoder, an actual voice, skills with harmonies, key and pitch seeing as it's an acoustic piece, and an imagination.
So think before you speak
What I think of the song is that it's beautiful and it's lyrics tell you a story to decipher for yourself, resulting in several interpretations. Harmonies are done well and the rather mystical melody pulls it together, it's memorable and fun to sing if you have the range. 4 of 5.

Personally, I think it's about either the Holocaust -- think about it, it really makes amazing sense -- or a relationship being ended before one side is ready to let go. The first time I heard this song I cried. Now that just proves that it's a great song. This is so amazing! Her voice is distorted a bit but is still so beautiful in this song. The lyrics are a little confusing and mysterious, but that's what this song so real and personal. Even though I heard this song before, like alot of people I fell in love with it when I saw it on the O.C. when Marissa shot Ryan's brother... They always have great music!

This song is inspirational and interesting at the same time. Not many songs are like that. Most songs you can't even hear the words because they are drowned out by the instruments. I listen to the words when I hear this song. They are both true and beautiful and remind me to slow life down and stop to smell the roses. Not to run them over in my haste to end life.
