I'm staring out into the night, trying to hide the painI'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain
Well, I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home, well I'm going home
The miles are getting longer, it seems, the closer I get to you
I've not always been the best man or friend for you
But your love it makes true and I don't know why
You always seem to give me another try
So I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all and then some you don't want
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all
You just might get it all, yeah
Oh, well I'm going home, back to the place where I belong
And where your love has always been enough for me
I'm not running from, no, I think you got me all wrong
I don't regret this life I chose for me
But these places and these faces are getting old
I said these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home, I'm going home

I met a beautiful girl about two months back and instantly fell for her. She is charming and sweet and I can't get her out of my head. But it seems like I am running out of time already and the fact is I am not in the same city as her and she is not sure of how to interact like that. On the other hand I am forced to leave the country in a couple of months because I lost my job. Every thing now seems like detached from me and that I don't belong here. I know I will lose her for good if I go home, but home will give me a lot of strength. I heard this song and every word of it is true about how our lives are just mere twists of fate and nothing else. The best line of this song is "Be careful of what you wish for 'cause you just might get it all and then there's some you don't want." The lyrics of the song match every situation and cir****stance of love wanting to find a new territory.

Though I'd heard this song before, I'd never really listened to it closely until July of 2008, just after surviving emergency surgery. My wife was 5 months pregnant with our daughter, and I honestly had no idea if I was ever going to see our daughter born. I was strangely at peace with the possibility of dying, but I wanted to see my baby born. I think about how close I came to going home to my Father. And I feel fortunate that I got to go home to my family. This is how it feels, knowing you might leave this world.
