This is my favorite song on the new album. It is so simple yet dark. So many ways to interpret the meaning behind it... whether it's about Beyonce missing Jay during her lonely nights on tour, or a bad breakup. Even a death of a loved one! Also, I think the lower register she sings in represents how the world views her on the outside, which is calm. And the higher, aggressive register represents how she feels on the inside. Such a laid-back but effective track!
