5 Stars for the song dude but the lyrics arent quite correct:
The singer sings "When the conversation stops and we`re facing our defeat. I'll be next to you and you'll be right there next to me. Then I'll say:"
Then he does not say "Girl" he says "go!" and disposes the girl ,everyone wants but only the one guy can get, because his "folks" (friends n stuff :D) are standing outside in front of the window where the pretty girl and he are sitting and the guy sees how heavy his girl has damaged his friends.
I think that's pretty much the keyscene and this is what weezer is trying to squeeze out:
One pretty girl who knows how pretty she is treats everybody including the friends of the "maincharacter" like dirt but she loves the one guy - the maincharacter. By meeting him in a cafe (or smth. dunno ...) they both are about to kiss each other but suddenly the guy who the pretty girl is in love with realizes how heavy the girl has damaged his friends and instead of kissing the really wonderful girl he tells her to "GO!".

Means that girls should never damage your friendships with your folks and that these friendships between guys are more important than anything else (AND also more important than any girl).
