My mom recently passed away from metastatic lung cancer in March. I was at her bedside as she left this world. I cannot even read the lyrics to this song without crying. It is very moving. My wife has stage three breast cancer and this song gets me to tears everytime I hear it. Anyone that has a loved one that has delt with an illness like cancer can relate to these lyrics. Twenty-three years of marrige and I love her more and more every year that passes. We have three children and just became grandparents a year ago. I know she will be here with me for years to come and more grandbabies to come and I tell her that she isn't going anywhere. This is dedicated to my 21yo son. He has a rare brain and lung tumors. He started chemo but so far its not working. Ive raised him on my own since his daddy passed when he was 4yo. The chemo really takes alot out of him and there are times when he wants to give up. But I wont let him. God brought us to it and he WILL get us thru it.
