My interpretation of this song is that shes with someone but cant fight desires for someone else. She can love the person shes with(the person she trusts) but she wants to feel lust. She goes for it (in for the kill) and hopes the person shes with understands and doesnt let her go. She hopes he understands and that they can get closer and bridge the gap, if its not too late. She wants to fight so they can make up. She wants to be cold so they can feel lust again if its not too late.
