Just started listening to Disturbed about a year ago when one of my young co-workers turned me on to em. I am one of the old school hard rockers cutting my teeth on Black Sabbath, Judas, AC/DC, Slayer. I have come to respect what these guys are doing and like most of what I have heard. This Album grabs you from the start and does not let up. This is the way I like it. Something that gets my attention from the first to the last. Way to go guys. You did great. |

yup, I kinda understand your point but strongly suggest you to stop worrying about it. even a little bit. take my fav band, Godsmack. damn I still can't tell their 100% genre! someone says its metal, others say its hard rock, recently i heardsmb call them "grunge"... me? I can't tell, guess they sound metal, maybe industrial metal. as i stated before - not good at defining genres. do I give a damn? HELL no, I simply enjoy the music. P.S. don't lose your brain cells, use Firefox ![]() |

And there we have a reasoned out, courteosly stated argument. Very refreshing, especially on the internet. I swear, I lose a brain cell every time I click that damn IE icon... Back on topic, I suppose so, these days everything with a damn guitar in it is considered metal, I suppose it pisses me off a bit... but just a little bit.... |

Delkion, while I don't support haku-kun's dumb and unnecessary offensiveness on the subject, but he is PARTIALLY right. and so are you. the band defines its own genre as hard rock, true. but is it pure 100% hard rock? doubtfully. the thing is, genres kind of unite nowadays. many bands have some of this and a little bit of that, which often causes arguments considering their true genres. is Disturbed hard rock? yes. is it metal? YES. with no referring to wikipedia. i'm not that good at defining genres but it does sound metal to begin with. secondly, if Disturbed wasn't metal, what would be the point of inviting the band to metal fests and putting them on metal magazines covers? =) |

Whell, excuse for making a mistake, you don't have to be an ass about it. Seriously its not my fault your dad is your uncle, all I did is forget wikipedia is the final say on everything. I guess me paying attention to interviews of the artists' opinions about their own music was pointless. THANK YOU for enlightening me. |

Smart, Disturbed is not, nor has it ever been, metal. They are hard rock. That's all I'm gonna say on that. Small request, if anyone knows where I can find lyrics to "Run", please let me know. |

I've been a Disturbed fan for quite some years now and these guys have never disappointed me with each album making the previous album sound like out-classed. But this album is the most awesome thing there was and will be in heavy music. Indestructible lived upto the expectations and is flawless and i've never heard anything like it. Its the best album there is and the album art is also the most devastating artwork there is, these guys have totally dominated music and they're the best. |

2 I Am So Smrt: I would have to disagree. Some songs HAVE become a bit softer, but not worse in any way. Besides, it concernes only SOME songs and only a little bit. I mean, if you compare, say, Godsmack's "Awake" to "IV", the difference is pretty obvious. But I, being a Disturbed fan from the first album to the last one, wouldn't say they changed their style that much. You want to say "Indestructible" is weak? Aw come on... Anyway, tastes differ. I just hate this new fashion to say that new albums are for "teenaged wannabe rockers that don't know what REAL metal sounds like". If we start talking about REAL-REAL metal, try mentioning early Judas Priest or Manowar. Let's not make this a competition =) Concerning your statement about the band selling out - "Indestructible" is a self-produced album. The band had no influence from above and therefore more freedom to make what THEY thought was right. Do the math. |

Disturbed needs to do another album like The Sickness. They were actually hard on that album. Every album since has been weak. Unfortunately they have done like so many other bands that started out good. They've sold out so that they can sell a more albums to teenaged wannabe rockers that don't know what REAL metal sounds like. |

heh heh... I remember people stating that no new album of Disturbed can exceed the quality of Ten Thousand Fists. well here you go! Although I still think 10k fists is a bit better, this one is almost equal with some songs MUCH more addictive. P.S. how come Facade has 2 stars?! |

Indestructible by far is a kick ass album. Disturbed really did it this time even for a die hard fan i'm hooked on this album more then their other three. No wonder way they took so long 'cause damnit a super job. Disturbed is without a doubt a incredible ass kicking band. I mean the whole album is none stop ass kicking with talented grooves and my god the lyrices are powerful. But i'm torned 'cause I thought there would be a contest of the best tracks but all of them is awesome. |

This is the most kickass album I have heard. Every song is simply amazing, Indestructible is my favorite Disturbed song. There is no contest, there should be no question, THIS is Disturbed at their best, and is unquestionable proof that Disturbed is truly Indestructible. |

This is one of the best albums of all time to come out. Every single song on this album completely kicked ass, excluding Torn. The Night is also the best song released all of 2008. My god, this album has exceeded even the most diehard fan's wildest dreams. My hat's off to you, Disturbed, you guys have supplied millions with incredibly bad ass pieces of art. |
