dude this sucks. its not "devon, no longer living" it's "devon, one of eleven" and it's also not "let it blow your mind again" it is "let it fill your mind again" also "you must surrender it all and give life to me again" not right. "you must surrender it all if you'd like to meet again"

Actually David Draimen wrote this song because his ex girlfriend commited suicide when he was 16.

Great song. Disturbed is a great band!!!! Best song on Indestuctible. One of the best of all Disturbed Songs.

alright, lets clear some things up. The song is from the view of the Devil, speaking to the lead vocalist about how he can join his girlfriend, who has just commited suicide, if he then ****s himself ( Devon lies behind this "portal" ) and goes with the Devil ( take the words from "one immortal" ) to **** ( fire, all you desire ). I believe it is Devon and not Devin, but I thought that "no longer living" was "one of eleven". I don't think this song is satanic, however.

Well, the I-like site link didn't work, but just look up "heaven is the face steven curtis chapman" on YouTube and you'll find a song that has a very similar theme (about a dad who loses his daughter to death) and a very direct contrast to "Inside the Fire" that is the difference between day and night!

If its just metaphors its merely a song, but if heaven/****/satan are real this song is very satanic Another song with a similar theme but a complete opposite mood and result: Heaven is a Place by Steven Curtis Chapman (listen to it on the I-like website, I can't post a link in here)
