This song simbalises a true situation. David [song writer, lead vocals] wrote this song about a dream he'd had.. 'The Devil' visitied him in his dream and told him that if you commited suicide he'd be able to join his lost girlfriend in '****'. In reality, David's girlfriend was dying emotionally and had to be set free, so she commited suicide. x

I like in the video how she looks dead even before she puts the rope around her neck. As a child of a parent who commited suicide, I know this metaphor all too well. People who ACTUALLY commit suicide are usually dead long before they actually end the physical life.

well muslims do believe that Jesus Christ{PBUH}was sent as a savior for the people of israel.we just don't believe that he is God,but one of the mighty messengers{prophets}of God.and he will return to clarify this to everyone...evidence of this can also be found in the bible...look it up if you want to know the truth.

I think ****, Heaven, and the like are just metephors. Rather (especially if you've seen the music veido) Devon is being introduced into a world of pain, discomfort and no turning back. Like a young, innocent girl becoming a stripper. Not necessarily bad, but ****ociated with negative connotations. And "You" in this case is the guy that cares for the girl. He is being tortured by her decision/s to be made. Once she makes them, he may be convinced to not care anymore as well therefore giving his soul away for eternity. What is to become of individuals that make moves such as these?

I can c y Broken Curses thought it was written from the vantage point of the devil. And i am pretty undecided about my religion but i think it wise to not bring up religion, especially since only some people will agree with your vantage point, Hindus and Buddhists will not agree that Jesus is a Savior or salvation, neither will Muslims who are a major portion of the worlds population. But i am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone on this point. And do we know anything about y Devon commited suicide?

If God were so lacking comp****ion as to condemn to eternal suffering a girl whose only real crime was in failing to be happy, then yes, I would, and gladly.

However, if God does exist, I doubt very much he is so cruel and unjust.
