Protective sister Jessica Simpson hits out at Melrose Place bosses after sister Ashlee gets fired

Protective sister Jessica Simpson has hit out at the bosses on TV show Melrose Place after her sister Ashlee was fired from it.

Jessica, 19, used social networking site Twitter to promote the show when Ashlee, 25, was on it, but since she was kicked off the show Jessica hasn't been so complimentary.

She recently wrote on Twitter: "CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

It has been claimed in US Weekly that Ashlee was fired because the show's producers thought she couldn't act.

An insider said to the magazine: "They hired her because they needed a good nam .....

Jessica Simpson has reveal what her perfect man would be like.

The actress and singer said: "I definitely love a spiritual man - somebody that is going to always inspire me. I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men - people that will always keep me intrigued. And I love artistic men - somebody that really understands their art."

Simpson is divorced from Nick Lachey. She has gone out with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and musician John Mayer.

Simpson has thrown herself into her work to get over Romo. Her new show is titled The Price of Beauty. She explained:"I couldn't have had this journey at a better time in my lif .....

Hollywood actress Jessica Simpson has revealed her dream man would be somebody "spiritual" and someone who would 'inspire her'.

The 29-year-old, who was once married to singer Nick Lachey and split from boyfriend Tony Romo in July, spoke about her dream man.

She said: "I definitely love a spiritual man - somebody who is going to always inspire me. I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men... people that will always keep me intrigued."

She added: "And, you know, I love artistic men - somebody that really understands their art."

Unlucky-in-love Jessica Simpson says she knows what she wants in a man.

The divorced Texas songbird, who split from NFL quarterback Tony Romo in July, admits she expects a lot out of her lovers.

"I definitely love a spiritual man - somebody that is going to always inspire me," Simpson, 29, told the Extra TV show.

"I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men, people that will always keep me intrigued.

"I love artistic men - somebody that really understands their art. I like a confident man."

Actress Jessica Simpson recently returned to the USA from a trip to India and was spotted with a henna tattoo on her hand.

The 29-year-old returning from the country where she had filmed her new VH1 docu-series The Price of Beauty with celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves.

The Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, also 20, threw a grand party for Simpson at the exclusive Vie Lounge in Mumbai.

It is claimed Simpson immersed herself with India's culture while out in the country and she was seen with a traditional bindi on her forehead and wearing a sari.

She also went shopping in the markets and sampled some Indian foods such as pani-puri and picked up some jewellery at .....

Hollywood actress Jessica Simpson is to start shooting a new docu-series show called The Price of Beauty in India.

Jessica, 29, will reportedly be getting beauty pointers from the Bollywood actress and model Neha Dhupia, who recently said: "I know for sure that Jessica will be draped in a saree."

It is claimed she will also study local dietary fads as well as beauty regimes and fashions and will even take part in some of the extreme practices she finds out about.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged the actress to spend some time in an ashram while in India and explore Hinduism for solace and meaning of life.

Hollywood stars such as Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson have been encouraged by Hindus to spend time at an ashram in India to seek solace.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has claimed the visit would bring the two American actresses tranquility, spirituality and serenity.

Zed, who is president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, said that an ashram is a place of retreat and is usually used for spiritual development and India is full of them.

It is claimed members of band The Beatles spent long periods of time at a Rishikesh ashram on the Ganges river bend.

Burger King and Fox Networks issued an apology to Jessica Simpson for a skit that aired on NFL's Sunday Night Football.

"Burger King Corp did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp approved it before it aired. Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humour was insensitive and we deeply apologise to anyone who might have been offended," Fox said through a representative.

Burger King in a statement said: "Burger King Corp has a long-standing relationship with FOX Sports, as well as an extensive media partnership with the network. The specific content for this sketch involving Jessica Simpson was not .....

Jessica Simpson has spoken for the first time about the loss of her dog Daisy and said that Daisy "would want" her to get another dog.

The 29-year-old actress was left devastated when a coyote snatched her five-year-old Maltipoo Daisy from her backyard in LA.

Talking about the incident, she said to Usmagazine.com: "Daisy meant the world to me. I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened.

"That I don't have her every day... It's a very hard thing to talk about."

Daisy was a gift from her then-husband Nick Lachey. Jessica put up posters and offered a reward, but the dog has never been found.
