Whoa. I just watched that music video. I think I'm a convert. Normally I don't care for pop attention drama queens, but she definitely has a vision with great producers. She's wildly entertaining. Then again I have a soft spot for anyone who can take a #!@%*# at Jesus.
The lyrics aren't much with out the catchy tunes and flashy video, but all together they definitely send a message. The lyrics themselves are vague with reference to various deeper possible meanings. Like she's in love with the idea of Judas killer of Jesus, and she asks him not wear a condom next time, so she can what? have his baby? It was cool allegory with the 12 disciples being members of Jesus's biker gang. That's just so cutting edge contraversal. Then she threads lines from other parts of the crucifixition story in like Peter denying Jesus and Mary washing Jesus's feet. Great producers? Gaga definitely knows her characters and apparently she's in love with Judas.
She's one I'm definitely going to keep my eye on and I hope she succeeds in taking down the king with no crown. : )

you said she has no talent, boring and many other things that are not really true. Lady gaga is a unique individual with great talent that you will never produce or create. She isnt being hypcrotie (sorry for the bad spelling got better things to do than look in a dictionary) Lady gaga writes songs, some personal and some not. However lady gaga is not a boring person, she has very original songs that she composes herself unlike other artists. People like Lady gaga are very amazing and deal with haters like you, you hate because shes differrent. Lady gaga has many sides of her but have you seen her personal side? shes just like anyone else, not horrible or judgemental like you, so before you say she is "POOR" no she is a very wealthy woman. Her music style and quality is beyond good. Its perfect in the music indistry, it shows people that being different and unique can be good. So dear constant sceptic, you dont know nothing and just wrote a load of 'rubbish' crap that has long words to make you sound cool. So lets leave it there. Lady gaga is just like everyone else. FCUK THE HATERS.

If u don't like the song don't comment. She is saying not to support the devil, she is saying that she is comparing the situation to someone who she is in love with but embarrassed about it. This is ridiculous that people are taking things like this wrong, maybe you should take a deep breath and calm down.

Uh! I so agree with you and makes me mad how people can't see that! Lady gaga straight up explains the way her life is in this song - she's a hooker, and a mind controlled slave. ( aka "prostitute wench, vomits her kind" ) how can people deny that when she straight up admits it.

This song is actually saying that if judas didn't do wat he had to do Jesus woudent be this person he is in our soul

that was all symbolic....the message is that when we love sum1,no matter how bad he is(judas) we have the tendency of turning their sins into virtues so as not to lose them or because emotionally we r too weak to do it (3 times betrayal) ..though deep inside and mentally we know how bad he is and staying away might be for our best (jesus is my virtue)....so heartly we cling to the bad choice no matter how our mind rejects it.the choice of religious figures to implement her message is totally marketing choice...cause no matter how shallow she seems,she is smart enough to know that using religious figures in a song and in that way,would surely make all the fuss it is making right now...hence a proof of and addition to the success of the song!!!!
