    love this song but a few of the lyrics are wrong. it's gun'll do the trick get it over with. And is it what you really want watching all you got slowly circling the drain. It says so in the lyrics that come with the CD.

    No, it was pot. Scars on the lips and melted fingertips come from joints. Pot joints. And the guy can't have been dead cause the songwriter was asking him questions.

    Also, I'm not %100 sure, but I believe it isn't "Show me what you really want, was it what you got?", but rather "Show me 's what you really want, watching what you've got, slowly circling the drain"...
