Kanye West appeared to be channelling Muhammad Ali when he posted several entries on the boxing champ on his blog.


West posted quotes and photos of Ali, including the Ali words: "My way of joking is to tell the truth. That's the funniest joke in the world."


Another read: "Silence is golden when you can't think of a good answer."


The move appears to signal a life reassessment for West following a massive humiliation he suffered over a stunt he pulled at the MTV Video Music Awards.


The blog is usually filled with postings on clothing and fashion accessories - apart from angry outbursts that also appear from time to time.

Kanye West cleared of airport scuffle charges

Kanye West was cleared of criminal charges relating to a scuffle with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport in 2008.


The rogue rapper, 32, who pleaded guilty to charges of assault, theft and vandalism, has been ordered by a Los Angeles court to complete 50 hours of community service, an LA City Attorney's Office spokesman said.


West and his road manager, Don Crawley, were arrested for allegedly breaking a camera flash belonging to a photographer. Crawley was also cleared of similar charges. West and Crawley completed anger management courses.


West's lawyer, Blair Berk, said the case was "wildly overcharged".

Kanye West's protégé Mr Hudson has revealed that he "couldn't speak" when he met superstar Beyoncé.


The 28-year-old, whose full name is Ben Hudson, admitted that he was left in awe when he met the Single Ladies singer.


He said: "I couldn't speak when I met her! She's like an old-school Hollywood star and I didn't want to get in her way.


"She's on another level and so is Jay-Z. He's really chilled and doesn't say much, but he's been around the block a few times. I look forward to one day sitting down with him and talking nonsense."

Kanye West pulls the plug on controversial Spike Jonze movie

Kanye West has killed off a controversial new short movie in which he cuts out a demon-like creature from his stomach.


The hip-hop star pulled the video, which was shot by director Spike Jonze, from his website.


In the 14-minute We Were Once A Fairytale, West plays a drunken version of himself groping women in a nightclub.


After a short sex scene, West can be seen going to the club toilets where he throws up, before plunging a knife into his stomach.


West then pulls a demon-like creature from his stomach, before handing it a knife and watching it stab itself.


“Sorry I had to take it down,” West blogged after the movie was removed.

Kayne West suffers for the senseless death of his mother, the disgraced rapper recently told Jay Leno.


A California bill has been signed into law to prevent others meeting the same fate - death following cosmetic surgery.


West's niece, Yolanda Anderson, said West was "very thankful" that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed The Donda West Bill into law.

West had recently plugged the fashion line and said he was putting all of his energy into clothing. But his new looks were leaked before being immediately retracted, according to one website.

Kanye West stayed away from the BET Hip-Hop awards in the wake of the uproar that followed his on-stage antics at the MTV Video Music Awards.


Rumour has it West was holed up in India. West's friends confirm that he has deliberately masked his whereabouts and that India is not out of the question as a location.

Lady GaGa, whose tour with Kanye West was cancelled, said the rogue artist needs to take some time off to get out of the public eye.


West's recent on-stage stunt at MTV's Video Music Awards brought a storm of negative publicity that led GaGa and West to cancel their concert tour titled Fame Kills.


After initially providing no explanation for the tour's cancellation, GaGa said: "It was a mutual decision. Kanye's going to take some time off. But the good news is that I'm going on tour in a few weeks."

Kanye West and Lady GaGa's joint tour was reportedly cancelled because of low ticket sales.


West, 32, and GaGa, 23, had organised a concert tour called Fame Kills around North America starting later this year, but it was recently announced that the shows had been cancelled.


A message was recently posted on the Fame Kills website saying: "Live Nation announced today [October 1, 2009] that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga "Fame Kills" tour has been cancelled.


"Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically."
