Kelly Clarkson had track 'stolen' from her by The Saturdays

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson had a track stolen from her by British band The Saturdays.

The five-piece girlband admitted that their new track Forever Is Over was written by former Busted star James Bourne, 26, for Kelly, 27, but once the band heard the track, they wanted it for themselves.

Band member Mollie King, 22, said: "We heard the song playing while at our record company and went into the office where James was talking to the head of the label.

"We said: 'We have to have that song.' Then we found out that Kelly Clarkson was fighting for it but he gave it to us.

"James is lovely."

Kelly Clarkson is the latest celebrity to take a swing at disgraced Kanye West.

Clarkson turned on West for his abuse of Taylor Swift in an open letter to the rapper on her blog.

In the fiery letter she blasted West for his ‘tactless a**hole ways.'

“Dear Kanye,” the former American Idol star wrote.

“What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough??

“Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like sh*t.

“I mean, I've seen you do some pret .....

Kelly Clarkson is the latest singer to criticise Kanye West's VMA outburst by calling him a "sad human being" on her blog.

Kelly, 27, was also nominated in the same category as Taylor Swift and Beyonce for the Best Female Video.

At the bash, Kanye jumped on stage while Taylor, 19, was collecting the gong and said that Beyonce, 27, should have won the award.

However, Kelly has since written a letter to Kanye on her blog, saying: "What happened to you as a child? Did you not get hugged enough??

Singer Kelly Clarkson says she is definitely not gay.

Despite loving Katy Perry's song I Kissed A Girl, the star is certain that she doesn't fancy girls.

The 27-year-old said: "Oh my God, I'm not gay! Everyone asks me, but being single doesn't mean being gay!"

The Since You've Been Gone singer doesn't mind when people question her sexuality but isn't sure where the rumour came from.

She said: "I don't mind. I don't really care. The only thing is, it kind of hurts my dating life. But I'm not offended by it."

In reply to where the star thinks the rumour came from, she said: "I don't know - I guess it's because I'm single. The only time it annoys me is .....

Kelly Clarkson reportedly serenaded a cut-out of Robert Pattinson during a recent concert.

Clarkson, who won the first season of American Idol, has already admitted she is a fan of the actor's Twilight film and is said to be under consideration to appear on the sequel's soundtrack.

A video of Clarkson serenading the cut-out was posted on a Twilight fan blog. It shows her singing the song I Want You to a cardboard cut-out of character Edward Cullen with the words "You Want Me?" written on his chest.

She then reportedly addressed the crowd at the gig in Springfield, Illinois, and told them that she finds him "cute".

British heart-throb Robert Pattinson has an admirer in singer Kelly Clarkson.

The American Idol winner serenaded a cardboard cut-out of the Twilight hunk during a recent US gig.

Clarkson was presented with the life-size replica of Pattinson during a rendition of her hit song I Want You, at the Illinois State Fair.

Clarkson grabbed the cut-out of Pattinson and sat down next to it on stage.

She even rubbed the cardboard cut-out's chest and told fans, ‘He is so cute.'

“OK, if you all know who this is, scream!” Clarkson then shouted to the crowd.

“This is Edward Cullen from Twilight.”

Kelly Clarkson has been named the Most Inspiring Woman 2009 - by the very same magazine that sparked controversy by using an airbrushed image of the singer on the front cover.

Clarkson, who is at the centre of a media storm for being noticeably larger in real-life, ironically opened up to the US fitness magazine about being digitally altered on the front cover of her latest album.

"I was like: 'Oh, my God! This does not look like me!" the 27-year-old said about the picture on All I Ever Wanted - a half-length shot of her in a black leather jacket.

The American Idol winner later wrote on her blog: "It's very colourful and they [Self magazine] have definitely Phot .....

American Idol star Kelly Clarkson said she has "never felt uncomfortable" with her size.

Kelly, 27, won the first season of the hit US talent show and she has constantly been under media scrutiny because of her weight.

She said: "My happy weight changes. Sometimes I eat more, sometimes I play more. I'll be different sizes all the time."

She added: "When people talk about my weight, I'm like: 'You seem to have a problem with it.' I don't. I'm fine! I've never felt uncomfortable on the red carpet or anything."

The singer has been keeping fit by using a CrossFit, a strength and cardio training program used by police academies and military special operations.

Kelly Clarkson reportedly "fought and fought" to stop a track being released off her album that she thought was too similar to Beyonce's track Halo.

Kelly, 27, who won the first season of American Idol seven years ago, said she fought to keep a track she co-wrote with songwriter Ryan Tedder from being released.

The singer claims it was only when her new album All I Ever Wanted was ready to be sent out that she first heard Beyonce's track Halo and realised the same backing track had been used.

She said she confronted the songwriter and said: "I don't understand. Why would you do that? No one's gonna be sittin' at home, thinking: 'Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Ke .....

But either way, I give her kudos for not developing an eating disorder as soon as the tabloids begin saying nasty things. Now that�s a role model! Good for her for not caring about the media and what they have to say, saying that however, I hope she is healthy and doesn�t continue on a big weight gain. She�s sounding great and looking just as good! .....
