Korn

Characterized by being provocative and cathartic, Korn was included in the list of admired alternative metal bands during what music experts call the post-grunge days. The group started as a California-based band named: LAPD, with guitarists Head Welch, Munky Shaffer, bassist Fieldy Snuts, and drummer David Silveria. After the release of their LP in 1993, the group met Jonathan Davis, who was the lead vocalist for the local band called Sexart. Soon after, Davis was invited to join the group, and the name LAPD was changed to the name we know today: �Korn�.
