Lil' Wayne real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. and he was born on September 27th 1982 in New Orleans Louisiana. Lil Wayne is an American Rapper and used to be a member of a rap group called "Hot Boys". Lil Wayne grew up in the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans. He was enrolled in a 'gifted' program of Lafayette Elementary School and was in the drama club in secondary school (Eleanor McMain). Lil' Wayne dropped out of school at 14. Lil Wayne wrote his first rap song at 8 years old
