Singer Lulu has said it was a "no-brainer" getting herself together with Chaka Khan and Anastacia for a tour.


The 60-year-old star will be touring the UK with the other two singers in a show called Here Come The Girls, which starts in November.


Talking about the show, she said: "It was a no-brainer, getting us three together, wasn't it? I called them and asked them to do it, and they were both, like: 'Hell yeah!'


"They are such cool women. We've all been around the block a bit and we're joined by our love of music."

Lulu hopes Susan Boyle handles fame

Scottish star Lulu has said she hopes singing sensation Susan Boyle is able to handle the pressures of fame.


Lulu, 60, is also from Scotland like Susan, 48, who became an international hit when she appeared on Britain's Got Talent and ended up coming second in the show.


She said: "It is hard to say if Susan Boyle mania is justified. It's amazing. It steps over into celebrity and that is hard to deal with. In a way, it would be better to just let her sing her song and go home."


Susan had a small breakdown when her fame rocketed after she auditioned for the show and she entered The Priory after the series finished.
