Peter Andre broke up with his estranged wife Katie Price a year ago, he has revealed.

In a documentary following their split, the mysterious girl singer struggled to hold back the tears whilst listening to the words in one of his songs.

He then hinted that they'd split up before: "The words couldn't be anymore real than that one but anyway.

"It's sort of weird, but you know when you write a letter to someone saying 'look can we talk things through', this was my letter I was just trying to get her to hear it.

"Obviously I won't say about why we split, but the exact same thing happened a year ago, but it didn't happen in the public eye, it's cool.
